Representative Lewandowski asked Laporta to explain

Robert Lewandowski ‘s future at Bayern Munich has become quite unclear. Although he is the number 1 and respected striker of the Gray Tigers, this star planned to leave when he could not find common ground with the team on contract extension.

According to many sources, the Polish striker has reached an agreement to join Barcelona after this season ends. Even the former Dortmund star repeatedly publicly affirmed that he was fed up with Bayern Munich and wanted to join Barcelona.

This makes Bayern Munich internally uneasy. Most recently, according to Sport, Barcelona President Joan Laporta called Robert Lewandowski’s representative, Pini Zahavi, in the past few days and thanked the striker for such public statements.

The Catalan team is satisfied with the fact that Lewandowski continuously expressed his intention and determination to move to Camp Nou. Overall, the relationship between Lewandowski and Bayern Munich has deteriorated in a very short period of time.

However, Barcelona is having financial difficulties and needs to sell some players to be able to add new recruits. Even La Liga President Javier Tebas said that Barcelona cannot register new players.

Because of this, according to Goal, Robert Lewandowski’s representative Pini Zahavi has called Barcelona President Joan Laporta, asking for an explanation about Javier Tebas’ comments that a move to Spain ‘cannot’ happen due to financial constraints.

The Polish striker wants to ensure certainty about the future, so  Lewandowski ‘s side asked Barcelona to clarify everything.
