Renato Sanches’ future continues to be uncertain

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches will return to the French capital after his loan period with AS Roma ends this season. The Portuguese player went to Serie A to regain his past form with LOSC Lille but things did not go as planned.

Sanches appeared in 10 matches for the Italian club and scored one goal. However, health problems have also followed him to Roma, with various injuries, such as muscle and ankle damage.

As a result, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma will not retain Sanches long term .  The 26-year-old proved ineffective with the Calcio club and will return to the French capital.

Sporting director Luis Campos will now need to find a way to sell Sanches again. He is probably not in Les Parisiens’ plans either. PSG has a lot of midfielders, it’s best for this player to go somewhere else to try to revive his career.

Transfermarkt values Sanches’ transfer at 8 million euros.
