De Bruyne is of interest to the Saudis

According to French media channel Sports Zone, Saudi Arabia’s second division team Al-Qadsiah is “dreaming” of signing Manchester City ‘s Kevin De Bruyne .

The Belgium international had a challenging start to the season with injury, however, he has once again proven his influence since returning . De Bruyne has 13 assists in 14 matches in all competitions this season. He remains a key figure for Man City as they chase a second treble.

However, there is a question mark surrounding the player’s future, especially as De Bruyne’s current contract with the defending Premier League champions expires at the end of next season. According to Sports Zone, Al-Qadsiah  could attract the Belgian midfielder this summer.

Currently in the second division in Saudi Arabia, this team is about to receive a significant financial injection after promotion. They are currently at the top of the table and 6 points ahead of the chasing top with 8 matches left in the season. The Khobar-based club are looking to make a statement for themselves as they prepare to join the Saudi top flight, and De Bruyne’s arrival will demonstrate that.
