Barcelona eliminated 4 coaches to replace Xavi; Arteta, De Zerbi run out of chances

Xavi Hernandez has announced his intention to leave Camp Nou after the end of the season. And from this moment on, Barcelona has targeted many talented coaches who can replace the Spanish strategist.

The ideal scenario for Joan Laporta and the Camp Nou board is for Xavi to reverse his decision, to stay at Barcelona and finish out the remaining year on his contract with the club. However, Xavi’s decisiveness is causing headaches for the Catalan giants.

According to Mundo Deportivo, in the immediate future, up to 4 talented coaches have been eliminated from the race for the hot seat at Camp Nou, including Roberto De Zerbi , Mikel Arteta, Thomas Tuchel and Hansi Flick.

The reason given by this Spanish newspaper is that De Zerbi lacks experience at a big club, Arteta still has a long-term contract with Arsenal and it is too difficult for the Spanish coach to leave the Emirates right now. Tuchel has an unpredictable personality, and Nagelsmann still lacks management experience at a club like Barcelona.
